Tip:  Store each medication with its corresponding supplies together to make injection time easier and more organized.

Tip:  All needles and syringes are clearly labeled with the medication they’re for and their purpose (e.g., syringe, mixing needle, injection needle).

Tip: Be sure to check all the wrappings before you throw it away—some supplies like needles and syringes may be tucked into discreet compartments.

STEP 3

Medication storage

Your package may contain both refrigerated and room temperature medications.

Medications marked with a [snowflake] icon on your invoice should be stored in the refrigerator — but never frozen.

You’ll find the same [snowflake] icon next to these medications in the Alto app for easy reference.
