Ajay is the Chief Operating Officer at Real, a Series B mental health startup. Ajay was previously the Chief Strategy Officer at Alto, where he joined the company in late 2019. Prior to Alto, Ajay spent 6 years at JJI-JJDC, the venture capital arm of Johnson and Johnson. At JJI-JJDC, Ajay worked on over 100 venture capital transactions and is credited with being a co-founder of Verb Surgical, where he was the interim head of finance, the company was later acquired by Johnson and Johnson. Prior to JJI-JJDC, Ajay spent 6 years in various operating roles at Johnson and Johnson. Ajay is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
