New York and San Francisco, August 13, 2025 - The Carlos Rodón Foundation and Alto Pharmacy today announced a partnership to make fertility care more affordable and accessible to those facing financial barriers to building a family.
Alto has been named the preferred pharmacy partner for recipients of The Willow Grant, the flagship initiative of The Carlos Rodón Foundation that provides financial support to families undergoing in vitro fertilization. Willow Grant recipients will receive a $500 discount on fertility medications from Alto, while all other eligible applicants will receive a $150 discount. Eligibility for the grant is limited to individuals whose fertility prescriptions are not paid for, in whole or in part, by any third party payer. Individuals can apply the funds to fertility medications their physician prescribes for their fertility treatment.
The Carlos Rodón Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by New York Yankees All-Star pitcher Carlos Rodón and his wife, Ashley, after experiencing their own struggles with fertility. Their journey included heartbreaking losses and the deeply desired birth of their daughter, Willow. Inspired by their experience, Carlos and Ashley established The Willow Grant to provide financial support and hope to other families navigating similar challenges.
Alto Pharmacy launched in 2015 and is one of the country’s largest independent fertility pharmacies. Over the past decade, Alto has worked closely with patients to understand the complexities of family-building care and help them navigate the physical, emotional, and financial challenges of fertility and family-building care.
“Fertility care should never be out of reach due to cost, and medications are a major part of that burden,” said Carlos and Ashley Rodón, Founders of The Carlos Rodón Foundation. “Our partnership with Alto Pharmacy ensures that Willow Grant families feel supported from the moment they apply, with the expert care and medication access they deserve.”
Like all Alto patients, Willow Grant applicants can benefit from Alto’s industry-leading patient experience, including:
Safe, Secure Home Delivery & Convenience: Alto delivers medication straight to its patients’ doorstep, with safe, secure, and dependable options that protect the integrity of time-sensitive treatment plans. Alto also offers in-person pickup at its pharmacy locations for urgent needs.
Affordable Pricing & Payment Support: Alto always looks for savings on patients’ medications, accepts most major insurance plans, offers competitive cash pricing, and works with leading fertility financing providers.
Expert Care On Demand: Alto’s fertility-trained pharmacists offer personalized support whenever needed, and the company offers additional resources like injection video guides to help patients feel confident about their treatment.
The Carlos Rodón Foundation partners with a number of leading fertility clinics during each Willow Grant cycle. Applications for the current Willow Grant Cycle are available to eligible patients via The Carlos Rodón Foundation website.
